Raimi Gbadamosi (artist and writer) is an editorial advisor for Dialogue, an online magazine devoted to new writing about contemporary art. Raimi will speak about his recent projects and their relationship to the discourse on identity and race and will be available for tutorial meetings prior to the event. Vanalyne Green (University of Leeds) will be using the canonical text "Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema" by Laura Mulvey to discuss the memoirs, histories and a film related to the life and work of Maryse Holder: art critic, scholar and self-described "feminist dropout".
