PDR Resources

PDR has some of the best product design and development resources in the UK. These facilities are available to industry and research and are supported by a wealth of knowledge, experience and talent.

  • FreeForm - 3D Digital Sculpture and freeform Computer-Aided Design

  • Moldflow - moulding simulation software

  • Optical 3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering

  • 2 Stereolithography SLA-250 machines

  • Fused Deposition Modelling - FDM 2000 machine

  • ThermoJet Wax 3D Printer

  • Selective Laser Melting - SLM Realizer machine

  • MCP Vacuum casting equipment

  • MCP Rapid Metal casting equipment

Two fully equipped workshops allowing model making, batch production, high speed machining and injection moulding to be undertaken. Equipment and capability includes:

  • HAAS 3 Axis CNC machining center

  • OKK 3 Axis CNC machining centre

  • Supermax 4 Axis CNC machining centre

  • Ajax Premier 2 Axis CNC turret lathe

  • Harrison 2 Axis CNC lathe

  • Charmilles FORM 2LC Diesinker

  • Negri Bossi 175 Ton horizontal injection moulding press.
